About Lily,

I’m currently pursuing a BFA in Film Production with an emphasis in Cinematography at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts.

Hi, I’m Lily! I am a 21 year old cinematographer, colorist, and creative director based in Orange County. I began as a fashion portrait photographer, and in 2018 turned my hobby into a full time business - learning the more logistical side of creative productions. After growing up in Portland Oregon, I decided to apply to film school to advance my career. Some of my work includes the Women in Film project Queen Henry, the independent film Loved One which screened at NFFTY (National Film Festival for Talented Youth), Lizzie(s), Book of Jane, and more recently a commercial for Beats by Dre starring WNBA player Rickea Jackson.

When I’m working the hours feel like minutes, and many of my fondest memories and closest friendships came through filmmaking. I’ve always loved the process of telling a story through film, learning the tech that correlates with it, and planning a visual style for each piece of work - whether on my own personal projects, or with a creative collaborator.
